  • ECHS Football Fundraiser
Effingham County High School's Rebel Football Staff takes a great deal of pride in developing young men to be great players, teammates, and citizens. Coach Holder and his staff work tirelessly to help these young men be successful at school, on the field, and in the community. We also understand that a strong community backing is instrumental in the overall process to help these young men be successful. We have provided a link below with highlights of our program and how you can donate to help us continue the strong traditions we have in our football program. Please do not hesitate to call Coach Holder at 754-6404. Ext. 1234 if you have any questions!

  •                  ECHS Prom 2017

Prom is scheduled for April 8th at the Hyatt Harborside ballroom.  Students may have pictures taken at 5:30p.m.  We allow pictures to be taken early so those students with dinner reservations have the option to get pictures before dining.  Prom doesn’t officially begin until 7:00 and ends at 11:30p.m.  Students who check into prom at 7:00 are required to stay until the end of prom.  If students choose to leave before the prom ends, they are not allowed to reenter.

ALL juniors and seniors of Effingham County High School must pay their prom dues in order to attend, even if their date is a student at ECHS and has paid their dues

There is a special on prom dues in February.  Dues are $50.00.

mission & vision

Our Mission

As a community of learners, in cooperation with stakeholders, our mission is to provide rigorous and relevant instruction in a safe environment to enable all students to obtain a high school diploma as a foundation for post secondary success.

A note from our Principal
What really matters is not so much what students at Effingham County High School walk away with in their hands, but how many sparks we ignite in their hearts. There’s no doubt students want inspiration more than they want stuff. The caring faculty member, not the content, determines whether students at our school walk away ignited or extinguished. Our faculty understands that the influence we have on children is powerful. Be it positive or negative, it is lasting. Read more
